New Student Tours of the Main Library: Spring 2013 Semester
Get to know the University Library system and services at the
University of Illinois. We'll take you on a tour of
the Main and Undergraduate Libraries, stopping to see all
major service points. Next, we'll provide you with an introduction to the Library Gateway,
your home for virtual library resources. We will meet in the Marshall
Galley, on the east side of the Main Library on the 1st floor. Map to the Main

registration necessary.
- Introduction to the Undergraduate Library to learn about where course reserves, DVD's and video games are located
- Tour the Main Library to see the layout of the building, including the Information Desk, the Main Stacks and the Scholarly Commons
- Introduction to the Library Gateway
- Pick up handouts on library services and instruction
- Ask questions!
