How will YOU prepare??? Help is available to discover some amazing tips/hints/and tricks to planning for finals and getting through them successfully!
Please be sure to get to the DGS  “Preparing for Finals” workshop THIS WEDNESDAY (7-8pm, Rm 295 Undergrad Library).
These upper-level student presenters will cover how to prioritize, plan your study schedule, and also will discuss exam-taking strategies.

All-Campus Info Session with State Department Diplomat-in-Residence, Ambassador John Nay

Interested in hearing from a U.S. Ambassador? Thinking about a career as a Foreign or Civil Service Officer? Ever wondered what it would be like to work for the US in a foreign country? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then come hear from our State Department Diplomat-in-Residence, Ambassador John Nay. Ambassador Nay has had an extensive career that includes tours of duty in Canada, India, Taiwan, Singapore, South Africa, and Washington D.C. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the session.

The FRED S. BAILEY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM is now accepting applications for over $150,000 in scholarships for U of I students. All undergraduate students who will be enrolled at UIUC in 2013-14 are eligible to receive awards of $3000. Students graduating in 2013-2014 will also be considered for the $5000 Bailey Leadership Awards.     

Applicants will be evaluated based on their commitment to service, leadership, and action. Financial need and academic achievement will also be considered. Applications are due February 7. Apply Online: www.universityymca.org/bailey
